To ensure an excellent experience, the tank features safety measures such as a dry-start float and an overheat protector, both made of stainless steel to prevent any off tastes or odors. The non-pressurized bladder system also prevents potentially catastrophic tank failures. The on/off control button is perfect for times of vacation or downtime. Temperature settings can be easily controlled and range from 167 to 208 degrees Fahrenheit. Safety features such as automatic overheat protection are also included in the design. The kit includes all necessary mounting materials, 1/4 inch compression stainless steel flex lines, Santoprene hose outlet to tank, and an F400 in-line water filter unit for installation. It is recommended to use silicone sealant instead of plumber's putty for installation purposes.
